DJ INTENSE is based out of Queens NY, and he is one of the most eclectic DJ's in the Tri-State area. Whether it's House Music or Hip-Hop, Top 40 or Old School, Freestyle or 80's & 90's, DJ INTENSE can mix them all seamlessly.
DJ INTENSE's love for DJing began when he was 14 years old, and he started messing around with his cousin's neighbors DJ equipment. He went over to the crate and picked out 2 records; "Jump" by Kris Kross, & "Scenario" by A Tribe Called Quest. His cousin's neighbor showed him how to adjust the speed on the Technic 1200 turntables, and how to listen to the next record in the headphones, and he told DJ INTENSE to try and match the beats up as best he could. Well DJ INTENSE did, and the mix came out perfectly. From that point on, DJ INTENSE was done playing drums (which he had since the age of 10), and he told he Father he wanted to start to DJ. At age 16, DJ INTENSE's Father went out and bought him his first set of DJ Equipment, and the rest was History.
DJ INTENSE has spun at some of the hottest spots throughtout the country, and he has also provided mixed shows for some of the Best Radio Stations in New York & Long Island. DJ INTENSE is also the Program Director & Owner of WPTP. An Internet Station that specializes in giving you the "Best Variety of The 80's, 90's, & Today's Hits". People truly love DJ INTENSE's style (more than 12,000 plays on Soundcloud can't be wrong).DJ INTENSE loves Music, but more than that loves to Entertain People, so if you have the chance to catch him Live, you should do so, it's definitely a great show.
